Docs In policies

Terms of service

Effective 11 October 2026

These terms govern your use of Docs In, provided by Vespera Capital Limited, trading as Vespera Digital. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them on behalf of the practice you represent.

Who may use Docs In

Docs In is provided to professional practices. The person who creates an account confirms that they may act for the practice, which is responsible for its staff, the clients it invites and everything done under its account.

Our reseller

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries relating to payment and handles returns.

Subscriptions

Docs In is sold as a monthly subscription priced on active clients. The plan, its price and its limits are shown before you subscribe. Founding prices are held for as long as the subscription continues without a break. Subscriptions renew each month until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for. Refunds follow the billing and refunds page.

Your clients and their documents

Your practice decides what to request from its clients and is responsible for having a lawful basis to do so. Document checking is an aid to your team: it compares each file with its request, and it does not replace your professional review or do your bookkeeping.

Acceptable use

Do not use Docs In to request documents you have no right to receive, to upload unlawful material, to reach another practice’s data, or to interfere with the service. We may suspend an account that does, and will tell you why.

Ownership

Vespera Capital Limited owns the Docs In software, its design and its documentation. Your practice and its clients own their documents, and grant us only the rights needed to provide the service.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Docs In available and to give notice of planned maintenance where we can. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed, and we will tell subscribers before a material change takes effect.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss or for loss of profit, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for Docs In in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
