Vespera Digital builds mobile apps for iOS and Android, and software products for professionals. It is based in Nairobi and its products are used wherever their stores and customers are.
Consumer apps. Professional software.
We do not specialise by category. We specialise by standard. Each product has to be the kind of thing we would pay for ourselves.
The studio is founder led by choice. One person accountable for every detail makes decisions faster and owns the outcome.
Apps are bought through the App Store and Google Play. Software products are sold under a written order and carry their own sign in. This website never processes a transaction.
Today that means Paid Sooner, Docs In, form. and Tracemark.
The principles behind every product
These are the conditions under which we agree to build something. They are set before a project begins, not written afterwards.
Privacy by default
We collect what a product needs to work and nothing more. We do not sell data, build profiles for advertisers or use dark patterns to widen permissions. This is a design constraint we apply before the first line of code, not a policy we write afterwards.
Calm by design
A product that demands constant attention has failed at its job. We send a notification only when it serves the person in that moment, remove friction that serves no purpose, and build for the session that ends rather than the one that never does.
Honest pricing
We charge a fair price for a complete product. No artificial limits designed to force an upgrade, no hidden fees and no surprise charge at the end of a trial.
Maintenance is part of the product
Shipping is the beginning. We fix faults, update for new operating system releases before support lapses and answer support questions. A product we have abandoned is a product we have broken, and we do not do that.
Specific over general
A product that tries to serve everyone serves no one well. We define a precise audience and a precise problem before we build, and the scope is set in the brief rather than discovered during development.
