Games privacy policy

Effective 11 October 2026

This policy covers the games made by Vespera Capital Limited, trading as Vespera Digital: Sort Lab, Wordkin and Bastion. It applies wherever you play them, including on game portals and, when released, on Android.

No account needed

You can play without creating an account or telling us who you are. Your progress, settings and best scores are saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Gameplay analytics

To learn which levels are too hard and whether players come back, the games send a small set of gameplay events to PostHog, our analytics provider: for example that a session started, that a level or round began or ended and with what result, that an upgrade was bought, and that a rewarded offer was shown or completed. A random identifier stored in your browser’s local storage links events from the same device. Each time a game opens, PostHog also records a page view, which includes the page address, the referring page, your browser and device type, and an approximate location that PostHog derives from your network address. The games do not record what you type, and they do not collect your name, email address or contacts.

Error reports

If a game fails, a technical error report is sent to Sentry, our error monitoring provider, so we can fix it. Sentry also receives timing data from a small sample of sessions, so we can find slow screens. Both are configured to minimise personal information, although Sentry may receive your network address as part of any request.

Advertising and purchases

The web versions show no advertising and sell nothing.

Android versions, when released, may show rewarded and interstitial adverts through Google AdMob and offer in app purchases through Google Play, with purchases recorded by RevenueCat. Google may use your device’s advertising identifier to deliver and measure adverts, under Google’s own policies and the choices in your device settings. Payments are handled entirely by Google Play, and we never see your card details.

Game portals

When you play on a portal such as CrazyGames or itch.io, the portal runs its own site and may collect data under its own privacy policy, which applies in addition to this one.

How long we keep it

We keep analytics events and error reports only as long as we need them to improve the games, and delete them on request where they can be linked to you.

Children

The games are intended for players aged 13 and over.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it by writing to support@vespera-org.com. Because we do not know who you are, tell us the game and roughly when you played, and we will do what we can to find the records linked to your device. You may also complain to the data protection authority in your country, such as the Information Commissioner’s Office in the United Kingdom or the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner in Kenya.
